Get to know me.
Hello There!I founded GKC Studios to bring together my experience in exhibit design, storytelling, project strategy, and client guidance within the museum and exhibit industry.
I got my start working with art galleries and art museums, learning the importance of handling artwork and artifacts with care while understanding how stories can be told through objects, and visitor experience.
For the past eight years, I worked at Taylor Studios, Inc., serving as Senior Exhibit Designer before transitioning into marketing and proposal leadership. As a designer, I led projects from early concept development through fabrication and installation, helping ensure both client goals and visitor experience remained at the center of the work. Later, through proposal development and business strategy, I worked on the front end of the process helping secure new projects and set them up for success. This included crafting proposal responses, negotiating contracts, and helping projects start with realistic expectations and clear direction.
I started GKC Studios because I saw how many meaningful projects struggle to move forward simply because the exhibit process can feel confusing, expensive, and unfamiliar. My goal is to help organizations navigate that process with clarity, creativity, and practical direction so important stories don’t get lost along the way.

People remember what they experience far more than what they read. Let visitors push the buttons.

I believe exhibit experiences should feel intuitive, engaging, and memorable. Museums shouldn’t be so polished that visitors become passive observers instead of curious participants.

I studied Drawing, Art History, and Biochemistry at Drake University before earning my MFA in Museum Exhibition Planning & Design from the University of the Arts. Somewhere along the way, I realized I could combine creativity, storytelling and science into one career.
